Volunteer Positions Available:
Interns and Prospective Veterinarians.
Working with The Good Earth Farm gives you more chances to see and work with more kinds of animals, one on one, and it looks good on your resume, we are a non profit org .
We will be interested in interns for the following:
Medical experience with animals
Working to establish fundraisers
Non profit marketing/ newsletters
Animal abuse and neglect workshops with kids
New programming/ working with the community for
animal assisted therapies
If you need experience in any of these fields, call us let us discuss how you can make a difference in the world of animals. We need a commitment of 3 months to earn credit as an intern. You may apply at any time.
Community Service for Court
Some times people make mistakes, we are here for you, if your mistake didn't deal with child or animal abuse, or you have not been in jail, we can accept you.
We accept teens and adults who need to make up hours for court. Our grounds are very large and need grooming on a daily basis , so if you can work outside, give us a call.
We also accept monetary donations at 12 dollars an hour toward your court hours. Also we accept gift cards at select feed stores that we buy our feed from. Let us know what your plans are.

Volunteers assist with grooming, washing horses and ponies, assist with riding lessons and instruction in petting zoo. In addition, volunteers will participate in variety of farm chores; such as, building fences, walking horses, ponies, and mini horses and feeding the animals.
Equine Assisted Therapy:
Our Equine Assisted Therapy is for children ages 2 to 12 years with emotional challenges. Volunteers assist and instruct the children in the areas of grooming, tack, washing, riding and the petting zoo.
No experience necessary. We provide the training!
Volunteers must commit to 2 months of Sundays to get credit for community service.
We welcome volunteers ages 14 and older.
